Video Animation
For our final CMD assignment in our last semester, we had to make a 9:16 ratio video animation of around a minute based on the topic of our previous assignment which for me was Education Divide. Here, we were introduced to the basics of visual communication through video and sound production, where we had to create storyboards, characters, animating and editing clips scene by scene. Our tutor taught us basic shot types and angles to make an impactful outcome for the audience.

Storyboarding & Narrative
I first made my narrative and drafted my interpretation of 'Education Divide' following our theme: 'Social Justice'. My story is about 2 characters of 2 different kinds of flower (Tulip and Daisy), where one of them (Daisy) couldn't enter the university they wanted to go in because the university only accepts Tulips. In the end, Tulip helps Daisy.

Animating and Editing
I drew each scene frame by frame to make the movements by using apps like: Procreate, and ProcreateDream. For the editing and compiling the clips and music I used CapCut. The process was really time consuming, but it was a fun journey drawing every frames to make the drawings move, telling a story.
