INTRODUCTION TO PHOTOGRAPHY

FINAL PHOTOBOOK JOURNAL...
For our final assignment in ITP, we had an individual project consisting of 3 tasks about photo journalism. This is the process of storytelling using photos as the medium, utilizing a camera to capture visual representations of a story.
Firstly, we were to come up with 3 topic proposals based on the given theme: "Passions" and then select the best proposal and analyse issues or anything related with it.
Then on task 2, we had to produce 20 original pictures to visualise the flow of our story and construct an essay regarding our topic proposal. Here, we had to include: Event, Place, Situation, People, Expressions, Emotions and Details.
Finally, in Task 3, we had an editorial project where we had to create a photobook along with the text of our narrative in the size of 4R, to convey a message to educate the readers/viewers.

My 3 Proposals
I had 3 proposals about 3 of my different passions which are: Painting, Street photography, and Singing. However, for my chosen best proposal I picked street photography as I find it really interesting to put in a photobook...

Before proceeding into editing photos, we had to make a contact sheet of maximum 40 images we took ourselves which then later we pick and choose only 20 final images for the book.
I went strolling around streets of KL to take most of these pictures
